In 1993, a mother and son flee the city and land in a rented farmhouse — hoping to escape the violence behind them. But what they find is worse: isolation, paranoia, and something unnatural growing just beneath the corn.
This zine comes from my own history — a mix of childhood fear, rural stillness, and the strange weight of being too young to understand what’s happening around you.
I wanted to tell a monster story that feels real. To explore trauma through genre — and let horror say the things we don’t always know how to.
